Dear Reader,
Welcome to Mt. Pleasant! We are glad to have you in our neighborhood. We understand how complicated things can get when making a move. Simple things can turn into nightmares. Unity Baptist Church wants to help you make a smooth transition to our community.
We have dedicated these pages to helping you find information that you will need as you get adjusted to our community here in Mt. Pleasant. You’ll find phone numbers, addresses, and other pertinent information about schools, hospitals, recreation centers, doctors, city and county offices, special events, electric, phone and water utilities and more. We even have a printer friendly version for you to print out and place on your refrigerator for your convenience.
If you have not found a church home as of yet or if you have just started thinking about attending church, we would be honored to have you visit with us for Sunday School, Small Groups, and/or for Worship.
If you have children, we offer a Sunday School class for the whole family including children and infants. During the Worship service we have Children’s Church for children 4 to 11 years old starting at 11:15 am to 12:00 noon each Sunday.

We have AWANA children’s club for kids 4 years old thru 6th grade every Sunday starting at 4:00 p.m. till 5:45 p.m. You can rest assured that your children will be safe, secure and loved at Unity. Each worker in the nursery and in AWANA club have background checks and certification to work and care for children.
We have small groups meeting on Wednesday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., as well as other small groups meeting at different times during the week- all focused on different needs of the community. These range from in-depth bible studies to special small groups with subjects like ,“Living for Christ After Divorce”, ”How to Live a Debt Free Life God’s Way”, and “Successful Marriage – Learn How God Intended It to Be “.
